Cultivation of Tomato
Tomato is one those vegetables, which produce throughout year. Tomato is important crop of Pakistan after Potato. It is a second important crop. It is a full of minerals, potassium, vitamin A & C. It is main ingredient of cooking. Specially Tomato ketchup is very famous all over the world.
Temperature
10-25°C is ideal.
SOIL
It can be grow in different soil like, black soil, sandy soil & red soil. You can get good result if you grow with proper well drain.
Preparation of Land
For plantation of tomato, you will require good leveled soil & pulverize. to make soil well plough land and tilth four to five times, then after you do planking for making soil level and ploughing time add well decoposed dung of cow and carbofuron ar the rate of 5KG or name cake are the rate 8kg per acre must be applied.
